Mark Schmid Football Camp
Mark Schmid is The Woodlands High School varsity football head coach. Coach Schmid's high school football teams have competed in the Texas state play-offs for the last 15 years. They were ranked 5th in the state and 21st in the nation in 2008, and 3rd in the state and 12th in the nation in 2009 by USA Today. Coach Schmid's athletic programs have been ranked 1st in the state of Texas 3 of the last 4 years. His 2009 program was ranked the number one high school athletic program in the nation by ESPN.
South County Football League is privileged to have Coach Schmid and his staff host this camp.
How much does the camp cost?
Please check the SCFL store for registration fees. The fee includes individualized instruction by coaches from Mark Schmid's staff, along with past and present coaches of the SCFL, a T-shirt for those campers who pre-registered, and lunch Monday through Wednesday courtesy of Chick-fil-A. Campers should bring their own water jug clearly marked with their name.
Mark Schmid Football Camp: Who should attend the camp?
Any child 5-12 years of age as of (31-July) is eligible to attend the camp. It's a great opportunity for beginners to learn the basics about football and gives the boys who have participated in the past the opportunity to refine their skills and/or learn a new position.
What should I bring and wear to football camp?
Campers are encouraged to wear shorts, a light colored or Camp T-shirt, football cleats or sneakers, and sunscreen. Special equipment is not required. Lunch will be provided courtesy of Chick-fil-A. Campers should bring their own water jug marked clearly with their name.
What time does the camp start?
Campers may begin signing in at 8:30am on Monday morning (check calendar for dates). Campers who pre-registered for the camp will receive a Camp T-shirt, which may be worn during any day of the camp. Camp sessions are Monday - Thursday and begin at 9:00am sharp and will conclude each Monday - Wednesday at 2:00pm. Camp will conclude Thursday at noon.

The camp is held at the The Woodlands High School on Research Forest Drive.
Who is in charge of the camp?
The Non-Contact, All-Positions Skills Camp is held by the South County Football League and is hosted by The Woodlands High School Head Football Coach, Mark Schmid. The Woodlands High School Football Coaches will lead the camp, with support from past and present coaches from the SCFL.

Football Positions Camp
The SCFL Football Positions Camp hosted by TWCP's football coaching staff is open to campers ages 8-12. The camp benefits both beginners and experienced players in position-specific drills and development. All campers will be exposed to Special Teams, and will then choose both an offensive and defensive position as their concentration during the camp.
When: (check calendar for dates), 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Check-in and late registration open at 8:30.
Where: The Woodlands College Park High School Football Stadium

Pre-registered campers will receive a camp t-shirt.

Speed Camps
The SCFL Speed Camps, hosted by SpeedCampUSA, is open to campers ages 7-12. The camp is intense in nature, and is designed to prepare participants as they go into their respective fall sports programs. The camp will involve extensive drills designed to improve lateral movement, running form, conditioning, foot speed, balance, vertical jump, and fast-twitch muscle contraction.
Dates: Three-Week Camp, (check calendar for dates)
One-Week Camp, (check calendar for dates)
Time: 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Check-in and late registration open at 5:30 the first day of both camps.

SCFL Golf Tournament
The SCFL Golf Tournament is an annual event held just before the fall tackle football season begins. Coaches, dads, moms, sponsors, and friends get together for this event to show off their skills (or not), gain bragging rights for their team, and have a good time.
