SCFL Fall Football is a competitive, tackle football league for boys and girls ages 5-12 years of age (as of 7/31/10).  We play the majority of our games at our new Gullo Park facility and compete against other teams in our league as well as those within the Lone Star Alliance. We provide quality team uniforms for each participant and each player is responsible for his own helmet and pads.

Tryouts:	July 17 and 24 (everyone must tryout to be drafted. See tryouts below)

Season:	Sept 4 through Nov 13
Cost:	$230
Games:	Saturdays beginning Sep 4, and 1 or 2 weeknight games during the season
Events:	4 events per week when season starts (practices & games)
Location:	Games at SCFL Fields at Gullo Park
Practices:	Practices start on August 14.  Five practices are allowed the initial week after which time only 4 events per week are allowed. All practice times and locations determined by the coach.
Need for 1st practice:	Shorts, t-shirts, cleats, and mouth guard.

SCFL Cheerleading is a traditional cheerleading program for boys and girls ages 5-12 (as of 7/31/10). Cheerleaders are taught cheers, chants, jumps, dance, basic tumbling, and game situations, and cheer for fall season SCFL games. The SCFL frequently partners with Woodlands Elite Cheer Company, a competitive cheer organization, offers coaching assistance, camps, and classes for the SCFL Cheerleaders during the season. Our best effort is made to place cheerleaders on a squad that allows them to cheer for their sibling's football team.

Who:	Children aged 5-12 yrs of age (as of 7/31/10)

Cost:	$185 and includes fitted uniform (skirt, top, briefs, and socks), pom poms, spirit bucket or bag, and trophy. Uniform fittings are held during football tryouts on July 17th and 24th.

Practices:	Times and location are determined by the coach but are typically once per week. Attire is weather appropriate active wear including gym shoes.

What to expect:	Players will run a 40 yd dash, an agility drill, hit a tackling dummy, pass, and receive a pass. Coaches may ask questions of some players regarding their sports or related experiences.
Draft:	Players will hear from their coaches after the draft on Sunday, July 25. Players are not present at the draft.

Barcelona Sporting Goods will be at try outs on July 17 and 24 to fit and sell equipment.  Their prices are comparable to the local sporting soods stores and they help fit your child.  They will offer:
